BSF returns 14 Bangladeshis in Benapole

14 Bangladeshis, including women and children, returned home on Saturday morning following their abortive attempt to enter India illegally due to arrest by Indian Border Security Force (BSF). BSF handed over them to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) from Putkhali border in Benapole at about 7:30 am. The returnees hail from different areas of Narail, Bagerhat and Narayanganj districts. Safiuddin, Putkhali BGB-23 camp in-charge said, BSF members of Haridaspur camp arrested the 14 Bangladeshi people, including three woman and two children, while they were entering India on Friday. Later, BGB handed over them to Benapole Port Police Station. A case was filed under in this connection, according to a news agency.
