BSF shoot Bangladeshi on Thakurgaon border

THAKURGAON, Dec 9 (UNB): Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot a Bangladeshi farmer at Fakirganj border in Pirganj Upazila Sunday morning.
BDR sources said the BSF troops of Chayanganj camp opened fire on a group of Bangladeshi farmers in the morning while they were working in their paddy field, leaving Shahidul (39) of Patuapara village injured.
Shahidul was admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Commander of BDR 14 rifles battalion Sheikh Moniruzzaman confirmed the incident and said BDR has already sent a protest letter to BSF.
