BSF takes away youth\\\'s body from Benapole border

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel killed a young man and took away his body from Ichhamati River along Putkhali border in Sharsha upazila of Jessore on Thursday afternoon. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said local people found the body of a youth floating in Ichhamati River at Benapole union around 3pm. Later some BSF troops took away the body of the unidentified young man. Locals could not confirm the identity of the deceased. Contacted, Major Hamid of BGB 23 Battalion-23 said the body was found at Indian side of the border. The nationality of the youth could not be known immediately, according to UNB.
