BSRM unit catches fire

Our Correspondent CHITTAGONG, Nov 24: Iron rods and machineries were damaged in a fire at the BSRM at Nasirabad in the city today. Firefighters said the fire was caused from heated iron rods at a unit of Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills at East Nasirabad industrial area in the morning. Two units from Agrabad Fire Station rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control. The damage was estimated around Tk. 0.2 million according to the firefighters.
