BSRS earns Tk 166m pre-tax profit in 2006-'07

Bangladesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha (BSRS) earned a pre-tax profit of Tk 166 million (16.58 crore) during the fiscal year 2006-2007.
Out of the profit, Tk 10 million will be paid to the government as dividend. There is no shortfall in bad debt provision and capital adequacy ratio as per Bangladesh circular.
This was disclosed by the board of directors of BSRS at a meeting in the city while approving the audited financial statements of the BSRS for the last fiscal year (2006-'07).
