BSTI collects 36 brands of powder milk for test

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institute (BSTI) has collected 36 brands of powder milk, including three from China, from markets to probe them for melamine, an industrial chemical hazardous to human health, BSTI officials said. Tests have already began on all the brands to find out if they are laced with melamine, the sources said.
