BSWA to hold rally on July 5

Bangladesh Sports Writers Association (BSWA) will hold a rally on July 5 in observance of the World Sports Writers Day, reports UNB.
The rally earlier scheduled on July 2 was deferred due to inclement weather.
BSWA, affiliated with International Sports Press Association (AIPS), has organised the rally bearing the theme "tobacco free sports arena."
The rally will commence at 7:00 am from the Public Library and end at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the city.
Sports journalists, sports writers, photographers, players and organisers have been requested to take part in the rally.
Meanwhile, the BSWA will accord a reception to three elderly sports writers -- Sirajul Islam Bachchu, Ashraf Uddin Khan and Jibon Bose. The reception ceremony will be held on July 3 at the National Sports Council Tower at 12 noon.
