BTA holds AGM

CHITTAGONG, Sept 14: The 47th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA) was held at its registered office in the city Thursday.
BTA Senior Vice-chairman Md Shafwan Chowdhury presided over the AGM and submitted annual report.
Audited accounts of the BTA for the year 2006, matters relating to the appointment of the auditor for the current year and fixing their remuneration etc were approved in the AGM.
BTA executive committee members M Shah Alam, Morshedul Alam Qaderi and representatives of different tea gardens were present in the meeting.
