The Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) said on Tuesday it would change about 9,000 telephone numbers under its Sher-e-Bangla Nagar exchange.
The old telephone numbers beginning with '911', '912', '913' and '914' went out of order on August 27 due to technical glitch, said the BTCL in a statement, adding the conversion process has already started.
A list of the newly-allocated telephone numbers has been posted on the BTCL website www.btcl.gov.bd.
