BTCL to introduce automated billing system soon
Sunday, 8 January 2012
Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL) is going to introduce automated billing system within two months for realising its bills from different Synchronous Transport Modules or STMs, commonly known as 'carriers'. "The BTCL Board has already given approval to automating the billing system at a cost of Tk 300 million that is expected to be completed by next March," BTCL managing director Abu Sayed Khan told the news agency. He said the current analogue system requires more than one month's time to prepare the bill that makes two months delay for realizing bills from the carriers. — BSS
