BTMA signs MoU with international partners to host DTG exhibition

The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with international partners to jointly organise the Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG), marking a significant step toward strengthening global collaboration in Bangladesh's textile and garment sector.
The agreement was signed on Saturday, at the BTMA office in Dhaka. On behalf of BTMA, the MoU was signed by Abdullah Al Mamun, former Vice President of the association and Convener of the DTG Committee.
Representatives from Shanghai Textile Association, Link Well Exhibition Co. Ltd., and ECO Expo also signed the agreement, according to a press release signed by BTMA Secretary General, Brigadier General Md. Zakir Hossain,ndc, psc (retd).
Under the MoU, the parties will collaborate to plan, organize, promote and manage the DTG exhibition, which is set to be held annually in Dhaka.
The event aims to serve as a premier international platform showcasing the latest developments in textile and garment machinery, technologies and solutions.
Through this strategic partnership, stakeholders seek to position DTG as a leading global event that promotes innovation, facilitates trade opportunities and supports sustainable growth in the textile and apparel industry.
DTG 2026 is scheduled to take place from December 16 to 19 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
