BTRC asks for stakeholders\\\' opinion to review telecom policy

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has sought stakeholders' opinion to review the national telecommunication policy aiming to keep it up-to-date and time-befitting.
Sources said the telecom regulator has asked the stakeholders and general public to give their views on some particular areas, including mobile number portability.
Stakeholders also can submit their recommendations in the areas of foreign and local investment in the sector, consumers' interests, spectrum pricing and manufacturing of telecommunication equipment as well as national security issues.
The BTRC in a notification said anyone can state his/her opinion in Bengali or English by email (info@ptd.gov.bd) or by traditional mail, addressing the commission's secretary.
