BU, KU VCs resign

Barishal University (BU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan, Proctor Abdul Kaiyum, and 18 others resigned in the face of student protests, report agencies.
Among those who stepped down are the provosts of four halls, several house tutors, the Director of Physical Education, the Controller of Examinations, and the university librarian.
Meanwhile, Khulna University (KU) VC Professor Dr Mahmud Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mossammat Hosne Ara, Treasurer Professor Amit Roy Chowdhury and acting registrar Professor Khan Golam Quddus also resigned from their posts.
