Sunday, 15 June 2014
Jatiya Party (JP) MP Kazi Firoz Rashid on Sunday told Parliament that the implementation of the proposed budget will in no way be possible as corruption has engulfed the whole structure of the government. Arguing for giving scope to whiten black money in the budget for 2014-15 fiscal year, the Presidium member of Jatiya Party said currently there are 5-7 trillion black money in the country. “The black money may be siphoned off if the scope for whitening those is not given.” Taking part in the budget discussion, he said the banking sector collapsed as it saw massive corruption and plundering, according to a news agency.
