Budget session of JS begins today

Jatiyo Sangsad (JS) goes into budget session today (Thursday) at 3pm, amid dithering on part of the main opposition BNP as to whether or not to join it from the beginning. Finance Minister AMA Muhith will place the Awami League-led Grand Alliance government's first national budget in the parliament on June 11. On the eve of the budget session, Speaker Abdul Hamid has urged the opposition parties to join this second session of JS. — UNB
