Budget speech contains clear implementation strategy: Muhith

Finance Minister Abul Maal Muhith on Friday strongly defended the budget outlay for the forthcoming FY2015-16, saying he drew a clear implementation strategy in his budget speech to achieve fiscal targets.
"I have given clear direction about the implementation strategy on various occasions in my budget speech. But, I don't know why some people are skeptical about the matter," the finance minister said while responding to questions from journalists at a post-budget press conference at Osmani Memorial Hall in the capital.
At the two-hour crowded press conference from 4pm-6pm, the minister was candid in taking questions and responding to those, aided by his some senior cabinet colleagues and high officials of the finance ministry, a BSS report said.
