BUET becomes champ in contest

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Max+7 team became champion and BUET Onion Team became 1st Runner-up in Daffodil National Collegiate Programming Contest-2014, reports BSS.
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology team, SUST bat- bateans became 2nd runner-up and Primitive team of Daffodil International University (DIU) won the 3rd position in the competition.
DIU organised the computing event National Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC)-2014 in association with Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) at DIU auditorium, said a release.
A total of 115 teams from 52 Public and Private Universities have participated in the contest.
Md Nazrul Islam Khan, Secretary, ICT Ministry inaugurated the contest Friday while Vice Chancellor of the university Prof M Lutfar Rahman welcomed all the coaches, contestants and participants.
N I Khan, in his speech, inspired the young talented minds to get ready for the development of Digital services for happy and prosperous Bangladesh.
