BUET commemorates Abrar Fahad's death

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Tuesday commemorated the first death anniversary of Abrar Fahad, a second-year student of the electrical and electronic engineering department of the university.
"We are profoundly shocked at the killing incident of Abrar Fahad at the Sher-e-Bangla hall of the university in the early hours of October 7 last year," said a statement signed by the university registrar Prof Dr Mohammad Forkan Uddin.
"On his (Abrar's) first death anniversary, we, on behalf of the BUET family, express sympathy for his bereaved family members and seek blessings for the salvation of the departed soul of this meritorious student," added the statement.
