BUET, CU win respective matches

BUET and Chittagong University won their respective matches in the Inter-University Cricket Competition beating their respective opponents at the Jahangirnagar University Ground Sunday, reports UNB.
BUET outplayed Khulna University by 8 wickets, while Chittagong University defeated Islamic University by 14 runs.
Khulna University batted first to score 80 for all in 15.4 overs with Atique contributing 30. Al Amin claimed four wickets for 23 runs while Oni bagged three for 15.
In reply, BUET eased to victory scoring 82 in 14.5 overs losing two wickets with Adnan making 32. Al Amin was later adjudged man of the match.
In the other match, Chittagong University batted first to pill up 160 for 5 in the allocated 25 overs with Rubel making team highest 46. Sajib took two wickets for 28.
In response, Islamic University scored 146 for 9 in 25 overs. Jubaer top-scored 68 while Koushik made 20.
