BUET student injured in city road crash

A student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was injured in a road accident at Palashi near the campus in the city on Sunday morning. The decased was identified as Anita Tasnim, 22, a third year student of Architecture at BUET. Police, locals and witnesses said Anita was coming to the campus by a rickshaw in the morning. A over-speeding microbus hit her rickshaw, leaving her seriously injured. Students of the university rushed her to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). DMCH police outpost Inspector Mozammel Haque said Tasnim's waist was injured. Her condition was stated to be critical, he added, according to bdnews24.com.
