BUET students win 1st place

Students of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of BUET won 1st position in the Asia Pacific Region and 3rd Position at Global level in "Urban Revitalisation of Mass Housing" competition organised by UN Habitat, reports BSS.
The competition began on September 15 with the theme "achieving adequate shelter for all by placing housing at the centre of our thinking, policy and the city", said a press release.
A total of 97 teams from 64 cities, 55 Universities, and 35 countries participated in the competition that was held on three levels: national, regional and global.
