Buildcon expo kicks off in Dhaka

The 7th Bangladesh Buildcon, Wood and Electrical International Expo kicked off in Dhaka city on Thursday to showcase construction, wood and electrical products.
The hybrid fair with more than 150 exhibitors offers exciting sourcing options with a wide variety on display for the construction, furniture and electric goods industries.
The three-day trade show is being held at halls 02, 03 and 04 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from November 23 to 25.
The three-in-one sourcing show under one roof is being co-hosted by ASK Trade and Exhibitions, and Futurex Trade Fair and Events.
MD Shamsudduha, additional chief engineer of Housing and Public Works Department, addressed the inauguration as the chief guest.
Bangladesh wood is the only focused technology and materials related trade show for the wood and woodworking industry in Bangladesh.
The seventh edition of Bangladesh WOOD 2023 has participation from international suppliers showcasing machinery, materials, tools, furnishings, mattresses and more.
The second edition of Bangladesh ELPROTECH will showcase international suppliers of machinery, accessories and spares related to electrical products.
"Over the years, the stakeholders have been using our shows to source from international suppliers who are present in large numbers," said Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, managing director of ASK Trade and Exhibitions.
