Building anti-corruption sentiment in society urged

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Mar 17 (BSS): Speakers at an opinion exchanging meeting on Sunday urged the conscious people of society to create an anti-corruption sentiment among students and young generation for economic progress of the nation.
The speakers also said an anti- corruption sentiment should be created among the young and future generation of the country so that they can lead the nation in future to a proper direction for economic emancipation of the people.
Coordinated District Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Rajshahi organized the meeting in association with the newly formed district and upazila level Durnity Protirodh committees in the conference room of deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj.
They asked all to work concertedly against corruption to build a beautiful developed Bangladesh.
Additional deputy commissioner (General) of Chapainawabganj Dr. KM Quamruzzaman Selim presided over the meeting while director of the Coordinated District Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Rajshahi Nasim Anwar attended it as chief guest.
Among others, president of the Chapainawabganj district unit of Durnity Protirodh Committee Professor Dr. Md. Siraj Uddin, Nachole upazila president of the committee Nurul Islam, Gomostapur upazila president Nurul Amin, Bholahat upazila president Hasan Ali, member of Shibganj upazila committee Aminul Islam and journalist Toslim Uddin spoke on the occasion.
