Bulbul Ahmed laid to rest

Bulbul Ahmed, the famed 'Devdas' star, was laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard Friday afternoon, reports bdnews24.com.
People from across broad social spectrum crowded to pay their final respects to the television and media icon at each of the three namaz-e-janazas (funeral prayers) held at his Gulshan Niketan residence, Bangladesh Television complex at Rampura, and the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC) premises.
Earlier his body was taken from Square Hospital's mortuary to his Niketan residence in an ambulance.
The first janaza was held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Juma prayers.
Ahmed was laid to rest beside his parents' graves at Azimpur graveyard around 3:30 pm, following all three namaz-e-janazas.
Bulbul Ahmed breat-hed his last at around 11:30 pm Wednesday at the Square Hospital, where he was taken from his Niketan residence as he was feeling sick. Ahmed was 70 years old.
