Bumper Aman output in N dists likely

RANGPUR, July 29: The farmers of Rangpur and Dinajpur districts are expecting bumper production of Aman paddy this year. And most of them have already prepared their lands, sources said.

According to District Agriculture Extension (DAE), Rangpur, a total of 10,22,000 hectares of land have been brought under Aman cultivation in eight northern districts this year. The production target has been set at 22,00,000 tonnes of paddy.
