Burning people to death cannot be politics: Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad has said burning the common people to death cannot be politics, reports BSS.
Calling upon all to stop the politics of corpses and engage in the politics of people's welfare, he said how many corpses you want to go to power.
The former president was speaking at a peace rally in front of his party's head office at Kakrail on Saturday.
Mr Ershad urged the people to build up popular resistance against the 'politics of instability'.
Speaking at the rally, party secretary general Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, MP, said if the government fails to contain terrorism, it will be held accountable by the people. "So, the government has no choice, but to restore peace in the country."
