Burnt rly coaches being repaired in Syedpur

NILPHAMARI, Jun 17: Syedpur Railway workshop is now engaged in repairing the coaches burnt and damaged during the opposition parties' blockade and hartal for use in the ensuing Eid-ul-Fitr.
Workshop sources said out of 22 such repairable coaches 15 of which are of metre gauge and seven are of board gauge. In some of the coaches the entire body was burnt and in some coaches spare parts and seat covers were burnt.
While contacted workshop manager of Syedpur railway workshop Omar Farooq said all the raw materials needed for the repairing of the railway coaches have been procured.
