Bus set afire near GPO crossing in city

A CNG-run bus was set afire near the GPO crossing in the capital Monday night, reports UNB.
Witnesses said the bus of Madhubati Paribahan, which came from Gulistan direction, was set on fire near the GPO crossing at about 8:25 pm.
However, the passengers of the bus managed to get down from the bus safely.
Fire Brigade sources said the fire was doused instantly and none was injured. None could say for sure who set fire to the bus.
