Bus torched in Dhanmondi area

Suspected hartal supporters set a passenger bus on fire in Dhanmondi area in the city on Sunday night. However, no casualties are reported in the arson attack on the vehicle. Police, quoting witnesses said, a group of unidentified young men forced a bus to stop near Dhanmondi Road No 15 and set fire to the vehicle around 8:00pm. They also hurled brick chips at some passing vehicles before leaving the spot. Most part of the bus was completely burnt before firefighters doused the fire with the help of police and locals, according to a news agency.
