Bus-truck collision kills one in Natore

NATORE, May 19 (UNB): One person was killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Airmari Bridge area of Baraigram upazila on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali.
Police said the accident took place in the area in the morning when a Dhaka-bound bus from Rajshahi collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving Mohammad Ali dead on the spot and three others injured.
Of the injured, Tanvir Chowdhury, a former national team football player, was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital while two others to a local hospital.
