Bus-truck collision kills trucker in Sylhet

A truck driver was killed and another person injured in s collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Sylhet city on Wednesday morning. The dead is Pranoy Kumar, 32, a resident of Shibaloya Upazila of Manikganj district. Police said a Sylhet-bound bus collided head-on with a truck in Goalbazar under Osmani Nagar Police Station around 7:00am, leaving Pranoy, the truck driver, dead on the spot and another person injured. Police recovered the body and sent it to Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
