Bus workers block Dhaka-Ctg highway

Bus workers on Thursday blocked Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Alekhar Char protesting the attack on their fellows by Bangladesh Chhatra League and Jubo League men over toll. Rais Abdur Rob, owner of Asia Paribahan, said a group of BCL and Jubo League men demanded toll to the bus workers at Padua Bazar in the city in the morning. As the workers refused to pay them toll, they beat some of them, according to a news agency.
