The business leaders on Monday assured that they would assist the government in starting work to beautify the government hospitals in the capital. The assurance was given during a view exchange meeting of a delegation of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries with Health Minister Mohammad Nasim at his office in the city. Describing the government’s steps to remove illegal establishments, including shops, surrounding the government hospitals, the Health Minister said the process to reclaim the government’s land in hospitals has started. He urged the private entrepreneurs as well as organisations to come forward in this regard. Mohammad Nasim also said the beautification programme will be extended to other divisional cities and districts in phases, according to a news agency.
