Businessman crushed under truck in Rajshahi

A businessman has been crushed under a truck in Puthya upazila in Rajshahi district. The dead is Sadeque Ali, 38, a potato trader and a resident of Shibpur. Another person was injured in the accident. Quoting locals, police said a speeding truck knocked the two people down at Shibpur on Rajshahi-Natore highway on Sunday when they were going to a nearby area riding on a motorbike. Sadeque Ali died on the spot. His companion, whose identity couldn’t be known as yet, was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital with serious injuries, according to a news agency.
