Buyers follow quality

FE Report
It was evident throughout the sale that buyers followed quality closely. As a result, prices for all good liquoring varieties appreciated over that of last week. Blenders continued to lend useful support whilst there was some enquiry from Pakistan. Loose tea buyers continued to be active.
Good liquoring Dusts were again a dearer market following strong competition.
CTC LEAF: 29,634 packages and 270 packages of Old Season were on offer continued to meet with a strong demand.
BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens were a good market particularly the smaller varieties which met with more competition and were fully firm selling between Tk 88 and Tk 92. All others tended easier but the plainer types were a dearer market.
FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were again a strong feature and tended dearer selling between Tk 91 and Tk 95. Others were about firm with the plainer varieties being dearer.
CTC DUST: 3,759 packages and (134 packages of Old Season) on offer met with a very strong demand. All good liquoring types were a dearer market following strong competition. All others were a firm market but CDs were slightly easier. Blenders lent strong support along with Loose tea buyers.
