President of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Selima Ahmad said the most vulnerable can be protected through interventions in entrepreneurship and provision of capital or assets.
"We have seen the most vulnerable amongst cyclone victims re-enter the economic maintain with small infusion of capital and mentor," she said in a roundtable at UN General Assembly recently.
She said trade and investment are the real ways out of poverty for the poor countries. Any economic solution has to be sustainable.
