BWDB gets new DG -

Engineer Muhammad Amirul Haq Bhuiya joined as Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), said a press release.
Prior to joining the post, he served as the additional director general (West Region) of BWDB.
He obtained BSc degree in civil engineering from the then BIT, Rajshahi (now Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology) in 1987.
He joined the BWDB as an assistant engineer in 1992.
During his career, he worked at the Teesta Barrage Project, Hydrology, Processing and Flood Forecasting Circle, different river bank conservation projects and different departments of the BWDB.
He also participated in seminars and training in Italy, Germany and India.
Muhammad Amirul Haq Bhuiya was born in 1966 in Sirajganj. He is a lifetime member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
