By-polls in five JS seats today

RANGPUR, Apr 1 (BSS): Authorities have completed all preparations including sending of transparent ballot boxes, ballot papers and other election materials for holding tomorrow's by-polls in five constituencies of Rangpur, Kurigram and Bogra districts.
A total of 15,86,620 eligible voters are expected to cast their votes in the by-polls in Bogra-6 (Sadar), Bogra-7 (Gabtoli and Shahjahanpur), Rangpur-6 (Pirganj) and Kurigram-2 (Sadar, Fulbari and Rajarhat) and Rangpur-3 (Sadar) constituencies, election officials said.
Electioneering for the by-polls ended at 12 midnight Tuesday night in the five constituencies.
The authorities completed sending the election materials, presiding, assistant presiding and polling officers, members of the police, Ansar and VDP to all of the 3,598 polling booths under 643 polling centres in the five constituencies.
Adequate measures have been taken to conduct the by-polls in a free, fair and credible manner.
