BYD opens largest showroom, hands over EVs

BYD has opened its largest showroom in Bangladesh and delivered vehicles to customers in a twin event marking its expansion push. The 6,000 sq ft facility at Aristo Tower in Tejgaon was inaugurated by Ketsu Zhang of BYD Asia-Pacific, alongside officials of CG Runner BD Ltd.
The programme later moved to the Bangladesh China Friendship International Conference Center, where pre-ordered new energy vehicles were formally handed over.
Officials said the expansion reflects growing customer confidence and BYD's long-term commitment to Bangladesh's mobility transition.
Company representatives, including Country Manager Charles Ren and CMO Imtiaz Nawsher, said the brand aims to make advanced EV technology more accessible while strengthening its presence in the local market.
