CA leaves for New Delhi today

Chief Adviser (CA) Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed leaves for New Delhi today (Wednesday) at noon to attend the second summit of BIMSTEC. The summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Hotel Taj Palace in the Indian capital. The CA is also scheduled to have a meeting today with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand are members of the BIMSTEC that covers 13 priority sectors. —UNB
