CA likely to attend regional dialogue in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, June 20 (BSS): A five-point agenda have been set on priority basis for the maiden regional dialogue scheduled to be held in the port city on June 28.

Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed is scheduled to attend and lead the regional dialogue, the first such parley outside the capital aiming at incorporating the views of local stakeholders in the process of holding a credible election as per the roadmap and a sound political environment conducive to sustained democracy and development.

The agenda include locally important problems related to public sufferings, election of local government bodies in a congenial atmosphere, a conducive and stable political environment, political stability in post-election period and how to ensure qualitative changes in the country's political pattern through overcoming successfully the present political situation.
