CAAB to renew aviation agreement with Vietnam

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) moves to renew the aviation agreement signed with Vietnam to facilitate direct air links between the two countries.
A consultation meeting will be held to this end soon.
This issue was discussed at a meeting between CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman and Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong on Tuesday evening, said a press release issued by CAAB.
Once a direct air link is established, communications between the commercial and tourism sectors of the two countries will get a boost, which will greatly contribute to their economic development, the statement added.
