Cabinet body sends back Shikalbaha power plant conversion proposal

The Cabinet Purchase Committee on Sunday sent back a proposal on conversion of gas-fired 150MW Shikalbaha peaking power plant into a dual-fuel system one, asking the Power Division to add customs duty (CD) and the value added tax (VAT) with the proposed cost of Tk 2.23 billion, according to a news agency.
