Cabinet discusses trial process of war criminals

The cabinet at a meeting Thursday discussed at length various aspects of the trial process of crimes against humanity committed during the War of Liberation in 1971, reports BSS. The discussion followed the regular cabinet meeting at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Various aspects of the trial process of the criminals involved in crimes against humanity were discussed at the meeting, PM's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said without any elaboration. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Barrister Shafique Ahmed, Planning Minister Air Vice Marshal (Retd) AK Khandakar, Home Minister Sahara Khatun, LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad, Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni, State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Capt (Retd) Tajul Islam, State Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Advocate Qamrul Islam and State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haque Tuku attended the meeting.
