Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said on Thursday the government will take strong measures to check video piracy, reports UNB.
Inu said the cable operators in the country will not be allowed to screen local and foreign movies through their own channels.
"Action will be taken if they screen any movie defying the government ban. Deputy Commissioners will be given directive in this connection," he added.
