LIVERPOOL, October 26 (AFP); Australian star Tim Cahill believes his goal-scoring return to action can provide the springboard for an Everton assault on Europe this season.
Cahill (27) made his first senior appearance in almost seven months in Thursday's 3-1 victory against Greek outfit Larissa and marked his recovery from a metatarsal fracture with a superb diving header.
