Calculator allowed in BCS tests

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has come up with the permission to use calculator in 10 compulsory subjects in the written examination of the 35th BCS. The subjects include: mathematical logic, mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, applied physics, statistics, accounting, computer science, electronics and engineering. A press release, signed by PSC exam controller (Cadre) AEM Nesar Uddin, was issued in this regard on Monday. The written tests will start on September 1 and continue till September 7. The tests will be held in the centers of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Rangpur, said the release.
