Sunday, 12 December 2010
RAJSHAHI, Dec 11 (BSS): Speakers at a roundtable here today unequivocally called for bringing the private sector health services under close monitoring and supervision together with a disciplined system for their functioning.
In this context, they mentioned that most of the private clinics and diagnostics centres in both rural and urban areas were making money in the name of healthcare services creating a grave concern among the members of public in general.
They, however, praised the government's efforts to formulate a national health policy and expected that with the implementation of the policy all sorts of existing irregularities and unfair means would be removed.
