Call to bring street children into mainstream

Speakers at a national seminar in Dhaka on Monday called for bringing the street children into mainstream of the society through proper rehabilitation. All should come forward to check the causes forcing children into street and preventive measures are needed so that the children are not compelled to lead an unwanted life, they said. Dhaka Ahsania Mission Shishu Nagari organised the seminar titled, ‘Street children in Bangladesh: Perspective and duties’, at Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) auditorium at Dhanmondi in the city, according to a news agency.
