Call to develop skill in import, export, remittance activities

Officials of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) have been urged to develop proficiency in import, export and remittance activities.
IBBL Deputy Executive President and International Banking Wing chief Mohammad Abdul Mannan made the call while delivering his presidential speech at a workshop on 'UCP 600' organised by International Banking Wing of the bank at a city hotel recently.
IBBL executive committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary was present as the chief guest while Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad was present as the special guest in the function.
IBBL Senior Vice President Md Mahbub-ul-Alam, and its International Banking Wing assistant vice presidents Khondokar Monirul Alam Al Mamun and Md Siddiqur Rahman conducted the workshop.
Patwary highlighted the overall performance of the bank and called upon all to continue the progress of the bank.
He urged the officials to make easy the banking works and develop skill by achieving leadership quality side by side utilising modern technology.
Fariduddin Ahmad laid emphasis on achievement of the aims and objectives of the bank through Shariah compliance and high professionalism.
